Follow what Fazith described to open the attachment. These threads dont allow .xlf file to be attahed.

There are three ways you can sort data - a) Query/data source level - basically when you drop the data to the excel, it is already sortted

b) Within Xcelsius - by formula - combination of RANK, INDEX, MATCH or RANK, VLOOKUP

c) Sorting at the chart

As per you, option a won't work for you. So either you can use the formula on the set of data after user has selected and then display the results in the chart.

It won't terribly hurt the performance but it will definitely add to the drag a little bit but I guess thats a price you have to pay if you cant get it sorted outside Xcelsius. By the way, may I know which data connector you are using?

The other option is to use my Solution2 - align the two charts side by side - have ignore blanks unchecked for the USA chart and test out the best position for the rest of the countries chart on the right.  You will an idea from the file I attached in previous post. Let me know if you could open that and also if you have any more questions.

Thanks

Runali
