How may I track the latest changes made to a purchase document?
Here's the scenario:-
- Make changes to a purchase order via ME22N - this could be done at the header or line items
- Save the purchase order
- An email output of the purchase order will automatically be sent to the vendor (seen in SOST) upon the document save of this purchase order
- This email output will display the changes that have been made to the purchase order during the document save
(it does not show all of the changes made since the creation of the purchase order)
- Only changes to the line items of the purchase order are currently shown
It is now required that the changes to the header should be shown in the email output as well, such as the header text, incoterms and payment terms.
How may I achieve this (to capture the latest & current changes that have been made), i.e. using which function module?
I tried looking up several function modules for this, but they don't seem to fit very well.
Please advise.
