When you activate a real estate contract, the cash flow is updated only for the period of time defined in Real Estate Customizing (Maximum of 2 years).

and you can check this update period for the cash flow in Customizing as below ;

Go to T-code : RECACUST >> Contract > Contract Type > Define Contract Types
