hi Cameron, yes this is possible.
i've attached a sample report that has i think what you're looking for. please extract the contents and change the .txt extension to .rpt.
note that there are two cross-tabs on the report. the first one has the summaries arranged vertically but the total for the second value suppressed.
the second cross-tab is a copy of the first one, with the summary order switched in the cross-tab expert, and then the summary for the new second value as well as everything else suppressed.
in the Report Header section, the Relative Positions option has been checked.
