I have uninstalled IPS/DS/IS.
I have installed IPS again. During IPS installation it asked me SIA agent name and CMS port details. When I use the same old SIA agent (USMHR1_ERP301) and click on next and contiue it never added SIA agent to CCM. But when I redo IPS installation with new SIA name it did added SIA agent to CCM.
In the logs it says SIA agent with name USMHR1_ERP301 already exist. So I went to services and deleted it manually using cmd: sc delete <SIA servicename>. It is deleted and not showing in CCM.. But when try to install IPS with the same old name again it somehow recoginises and not allowing to add with old SIA name. Can you please let me know where used SIA agent information is stored and how to get rid from this if I want to use same old SIA name again.
So as an alternative I gave new unique SIA name PID and completed IPS installation. But when try to install DS, it asked me for CMS information. I gave system name as PID/Admin/Pwd. it failed with error please check CMS connection and make sure CMS is up and running.
When I give System name as the server host name where IPS is installed it says "Installer could not detect running data administrator service for specified CMS connection information."
DS.admin service is not there in server when I checked using CMS console.
How to fix this. Please let me know your valuable inputs.
