SAP has certain naming conventions for the DNS / Hostname.
For locally resolvable "DNS names":
Attached you can find the documentation on how to set the hostname.
Changing the Hostname for an Instance - Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud
set the hostname to the short name e.g. "myerp"
add a record in /etc/hosts e.g.
<private ip> myerp myerp.blechner.corp
For publicly resolvable records you can use AWS Route 53.
