we use the payment medium workbench to create our payment files. The format is tied to the payment type.
I have a requirement from the business to limited amounts of foreign certain currency that can be processed and submitted in the payment file.
is there a way on a payment type level to limited the amounts.
I know in tcode OBVCU you can limit the maxim amount for outgoing payments by currency, but this limit is on the bank account level and not the payment type level.
we only want high dollar foreign currency not to go to our payment file but still be able to be processed via F110 using a payment method NOT tied to the payment
example: payment type T is tied to the DMEE payment file.
eur account . we do not want more than 950K EUR of a foreign currency to be processed using payment method T. so if we have a payment of JPY that would convert into more than this 950K limit we don't want that to be in our payment file.
we would want to use another payment method that would not be tied to the Payment Medium Workbench to be used so we could manually go buy the currency needed.
Can this be done.
