Symptom

In transaction IE02(editing an equipment) when master warranty of the same type is assigned twice, then the application allows saving of such an equipment without throwing an error message. There by allowing the equipment to be saved instead of terminating the flow with an error message.

The above SAP Note was created to validate before saving warranty, so that a error message appears when users are using same warranty type .So this is already available in our system.

Our issue is standard table BGMKOBJ is having Equipment (J_OBJNR) and Warranty type (GAART) as key fields , hence multiple warranty type for the same equipment is not allowed.

Any suggestions would be appriciated  .
