In 3.1 while in InfoView you can use Rich client to import it from the CMS to your local drive.
To save Desktop Intelligence documents to your local computer
In the Desktop Intelligence viewer toolbar, click Document, select Save to my computer as, and choose your preferred format.
Excel attempts to preserve as much formatting as possible in a Microsoft Excel file.
PDF saves a PDF version of the report to your computer.
CSV saves the data with commas separating each value, to enable easy data access and manipulation.
Click Save in the File Download dialog box and save your file to your local computer.

To send through Infoview:
Select the report -- click "Send to" (on the menu bar) -- BusinessObjects Inbox
Uncheck "Use default setting" and you will be provided with option to select the User/Group with whom you want to share the report.
